Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Holborn, London - Up to £44,000 Per Annum

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in Holborn, London. We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a commercial office located near Holborn, London. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with proven experience in commercial/property building maintenance. The role involves carrying out M&E/Fabric planned and reactive maintenance, as well as installations across a static, single-occupant estate.

Working with the onsite maintenance team, the engineer should have hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Lighting (small installations, fault-finding, lamping, changing ballasts, control panels, power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - re-setting
• Water Treatment (temperature checks, no dosing)
• Plumbing - unblocking toilets
• BMS System - monitoring (e.g., hot & cold)
• UPS Systems - monitoring and readings
• General building fabric maintenance
• Updating log books
• Organising subcontractors
• Issuing permits

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (40 hours/week)

Minimum Requirements:

• Electrically qualified with trade certificates (please provide copies)
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 & 3
• 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations (City & Guilds)
• Proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
• Installation experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Willingness to cover a large site
• Experience in managing a single-site operation is preferred
• Honest, hardworking, and reliable

Package:

• Salary up to £44,000 per annum
• Overtime available
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
