Job summary

A leading Facilities Management company in Chester is seeking a Resident Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance. The ideal candidate will be time served with 18th Edition and 2391 qualifications, and able to obtain security clearance. This permanent position offers a 1 in 5 on-call rotation and working hours Monday to Friday.

On-call pay of GBP100 per week plus minimum 4 hours per call

Qualifications

• Candidates must be time served with 18th Edition and 2391 test and inspection qualifications.
• Experience in maintaining building fabric within commercial environments.
• Able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on site.
• Conduct tests, servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and calibration.
• Work safely in accordance with Health and Safety procedures.

Job description

Due to contract growth, we are recruiting for a Resident Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work for a leading Facilities Management company to on leading, secure site in Chester

You will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on a day to day basis across the site. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience in maintaining building fabric within commercial environments.

Candidates must be time served with 18th Edition and 2391 test and inspection qualifications. Candidates will also be required to obtain security clearance.

Hours - Mon - Fri ( 7.30AM - 4.30pm / Friday 1.30PM)

On call is 1 in 5 (GBP100 p/week + minimum 4 hours per call)

This is a permanent position based on Days

Responsibilities

• PPM maintenance
• Reactive maintenance
• Carry out test, servicing, diagnostic, repairs and calibrate advance electrical and mechanical installations
• Work safely and in accordance to Health and Safety procedures
• Perform maintenance tasks and other associated tasks on any part of the site as and when required
• Operate as part of an effective professional maintenance team

Skills & Attributes

• Time Served Engineer - qualified in an electrical discipline
• 18th Edition + 2391 qualified.
• Experience in a similar Facilities Management / Building Services background
• Knowledge of L8 Management
• Able to obtain security clearance.
