Are you an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a new position with a leading manufacturer? Have you worked as part of a maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility? Do you have experience maintaining and fault-finding on pneumatic packaging machinery? Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in Gainsborough. Our client is a leading manufacturer in the FMCG industry, supplying their products to multiple other manufacturers.

The Role

As part of the maintenance team, you\'ll play a crucial role in ensuring plant availability and production efficiency through proactive maintenance and swift resolution of technical challenges. Responsibilities include:

  • Perform planned preventive and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art machinery
  • Uphold health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and implementing effective controls.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, minimize downtime, and contribute to improvement projects.
  • Maintain detailed records, including PM sheets and system logs, to support seamless operations.
The Candidate
  • A strong engineering background (HNC, City & Guilds, or time-served apprenticeship)
  • Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting, preferably in food production.
  • Electrically biased with exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • A flexible approach and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems (desirable)
Salary/Benefits
  • Up to £49,829 including shift allowance.
  • Matched pension contributions up to 10%.

  • 25 days of leave plus shutdown on Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year\'s Day.
  • 4-on, 4-off shifts (6 am - 6 pm, 2 days, followed by 2 nights)
