Job Description

We are seeking an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join a highly regarded food manufacturing company operating in a clean, controlled environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to work with state-of-the-art equipment and play a key role in maintaining the reliability of critical food production machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on production and packaging machinery.
  • Ensuring compliance with strict food hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules.
  • Diagnosing faults on motors, sensors, panels, and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Working alongside mechanical engineers to support site-wide operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an electrical maintenance engineer, ideally within a food or FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge of working in a clean or controlled environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of 3-phase systems, control panels, and PLCs (Siemens/Allen Bradley).
  • Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, HNC).
  • Proactive attitude and excellent fault-finding abilities.
