Job Description:

We are seeking a Shift Maintenance Electrician for a continental shift pattern at a commercial building in King's Cross, earning up to £52,000 plus overtime, training, and career progression. The role involves electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance within a critical site environment.

Hours of work:

  • Continent shift pattern, days & nights
  • 07:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00
  • Overtime available
  • 20 days holiday

Responsibilities include:

  • Lighting installation, fault-finding, and maintenance
  • Emergency lighting testing
  • Control panel maintenance
  • Ballast replacement
  • BMS system monitoring
  • Electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance
  • Logbook updates
  • Plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets
  • Pumps and motors maintenance
  • Chillers and pressurisation units handling
  • Reporting faults and ensuring health & safety standards
  • Communicating with client staff and site management
  • Supervising subcontractors

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in electrical qualifications
  • 18th Edition (City & Guilds)
  • HVAP or LVAP beneficial
  • Trade certificates proof required
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with good communication skills
  • Client-facing experience
