Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Provider – Moorgate, London – Up to £52,000

Location: Moorgate, London
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights – 7am to 7pm / 7pm to 7am)
Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

Are you a qualified and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a fast-paced, high-spec site in Central London? We’re hiring for a skilled engineer to join our team at a critical commercial facility in Moorgate. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge building services systems and a strong, supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the site.

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of electrical systems, including:

- HV/LV distribution

- UPS systems and backup generators

- Lighting, small power, and control panels

- Monitor and respond to BMS alarms and ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and site safety procedures.

- Work closely with mechanical engineers, subcontractors, and the facilities team to deliver a seamless service.

- Keep detailed and accurate records of work completed.

Requirements:

- Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).

- Experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or critical environment (e.g., data centres, financial sites, hospitals).

- Strong working knowledge of UPS systems, generators, and HV/LV distribution.

- HV/LV Authorised Person (AP) status desirable.

- Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.
