Job description

Electrical M&E Foot Mobile Engineer – 43K + Zones 1 - 3 Travel Card

I am currently representing a leading building services specialist who is seeking an Electrical bias Foot Mobile Engineer to join a growing team in Central London. The successful candidate will provide planned maintenance and reactive services to electrical & mechanical equipment on various high-end commercial sites, mainly consisting of commercial office spaces and mixed-use developments.

The engineer's responsibilities will include:

  1. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
  2. Undertaking weekly checks, including fire alarm tests
  3. Emergency lighting maintenance
  4. Ballast changes
  5. Filter and belt replacements
  6. Pumps, AHUs, FCUs, BMS maintenance
  7. L8 checks, including tap temperatures and domestic flushing
  8. Taking meter readings
  9. Plant room and boiler house checks
  10. Client and tenant interactions
  11. Working independently and as part of a team

This role is based on a 40-hour week, with shifts from 8 am to 5 pm. Overtime is available.

The ideal candidate will have an up-to-date 18th edition certification and a recognized industry qualification, preferably from an apprenticeship, with post-apprenticeship experience in construction or maintenance industries.
