Qualifications

What we are looking for in our electrical lecturer:

  • Qualified to L3 in Electrical Installation.
  • Recent and relevant experience in electrical work.
  • Relevant or transferable skills to be able to teach.
  • Experience of various electrical skills and have the enthusiasm and initiative to give our students the very best learning experience.

Duties/responsibilities of the electrical lecturer:

  • Teach and deliver in both a workshop and classroom setting for Electrical Installation levels 1, 2 & 3 including our apprenticeship provision.
  • Prepare learning materials in varied formats.
  • Promote learner welfare.

Nescot is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Inspectors rated the College as Good in all 8 aspects. The report recognises that students “enjoy their courses and are motivated to succeed” and benefit from “highly supportive relationships” with staff.
