Job description
Overview

Temporary Electrical Lecturer – Location: Canterbury. Hours: 24 contact hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and training to students, supporting learners at Level 2 and apprenticeship levels.
  • Deliver Electrical Level 2 (8202-20), Phase 2 Apprentices - City & Guilds, and Phase 3 Apprentices - City & Guilds.
  • Take responsibility for design, delivery, and evaluation of programmes and courses; provide a high-quality learning experience for all learners.
Qualifications
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge & Skills:
    • Strong understanding of City & Guilds qualifications listed above.
    • Ability to deliver and assess all practical elements of electrical installation.
    • Teaching and training experience within a further education or apprenticeship setting is desirable.
The Role in Practice
  • As a Lecturer you will deliver engaging teaching and training to learners across a variety of learning environments.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Take responsibility for the design, delivery, and evaluation of programmes and courses.
  • Ensure a high-quality learning experience for all learners.

The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and ideally you will be on the update service; however, we will cover the cost of a new DBS if this is not the case.
