Job Description:

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its Cambridge team. This role involves delivering detailed electrical design solutions for complex building and infrastructure projects, working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality electrical designs, calculations, and specifications that meet client needs.
  • Design systems using the latest software, including BIM, Revit, Dialux, and Relux.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry developments to drive innovation and best practices.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly via reports, presentations, and client meetings.
  • Manage multiple projects independently, from design to on-site coordination.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record as an Electrical Engineer or similar, with experience delivering complex projects.
  • Proficiency with modern technical tools and software for electrical design.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build client confidence.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to mentoring and supporting colleagues.
