Job description

Currently hiring for Electrical Instrumentation Technicians to join our team in Richmond, VA. As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems within an industrial environment. The annual salary ranges from $94,000 to $110,000, depending on skill set and experience. If you have at least 5 years of experience as an electrical instrumentation technician, apply now!

Responsibilities:
  1. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment daily.
  2. Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical control systems and PLCs.
  3. Install new or rebuilt machine parts.
  4. Rebuild failed equipment components.
  5. Assist with the installation of new systems and equipment.
  6. Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, schematics, manuals, and other manufacturer specifications.
  7. Maintain an accurate inventory of parts.
  8. Keep a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications:
  1. At least 5 years of experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing facility.
  2. Knowledge of electrical and machine-control troubleshooting (PLCs, controls, 3-phase motors, switches, etc.).
  3. Reliable personal transportation.
  4. Ability to work alternate shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Schedule:
  1. Full-time position.
  2. Monday through Friday, with weekends and overtime as needed.
  3. Available shifts: 1st and 2nd (swing).
