Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for an on-site role in East Hampshire. This position offers a 6-month contract with competitive pay ranging from £35 to £40 per hour, outside of IR35. The ideal candidate should have extensive maintenance experience and qualifications in instrumentation and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience on related equipment.
• Experience in safety critical environments (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical).
• Good working knowledge of electrical systems.

Electrical + Instrumentation Technician
Hampshire: 5 days a week onsite
6 month initial contract
£35-£40 per hour outside of IR35

Essential Skillset:

• 5+ years maintenance experience on equipment related to the installed instrument and/or electrical equipment.
• Experience working within a safety critical environment (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical)
• Possess instrument qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ level 3) with a good working knowledge in electrical.
• Experience with Fire & Gas testing and basic knowledge of how all the different systems work
• Proficient in IEC 60079 and hold in date CompEx 01-04 certification
