Qualifications

  • Appropriate engineering construction experience in the relevant discipline.
  • Experience working as part of an EPCM team.
  • Testing and inspection of E&I installations.
  • Ability to review documents.
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering construction practices, codes, and regulations related to construction activities.
  • Inspection qualifications as applicable to the discipline.

  • Implementing company and project quality plans and procedures, monitoring progress, and controlling all discipline project contractors.
  • Resolving discipline-specific site engineering matters.
  • Liaising with clients and contractors regarding all construction services, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinating and interfacing with project engineering disciplines.

NES Fircroft is currently recruiting an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor for a new manufacturing facility project in Tilbury, Essex. This is an outside IR35 contract available to limited companies. The position offers 55 hours per week, with 11-hour days from Monday to Friday. The contract duration is 12 months. Travel, expenses, and accommodation are available for those traveling.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Implementing company and project HSE policies and executing Principal Contractor duties in accordance with CDM Regulations.
  • Implementing company and project quality plans and procedures, monitoring progress, and controlling all discipline project contractors.
  • Resolving discipline-specific site engineering matters.
  • Liaising with clients and contractors regarding all construction services, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinating and interfacing with project engineering disciplines.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • IOSH and/or CCNSG qualification.
  • Appropriate engineering construction experience in the relevant discipline.
  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • Experience working as part of an EPCM team.
  • Testing and inspection of E&I installations.
  • Ability to review documents.
  • CompEx qualification.
  • HV and LV competency, including Senior Authorized Person (SAP) certification.
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering construction practices, codes, and regulations related to construction activities.
  • Inspection qualifications as applicable to the discipline.
  • Asbestos Awareness training.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
