Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in Aylesbury is seeking an Electrical Instructor to deliver practical Electrical Installation sessions, supervise learners and maintain a safe workshop. No prior teaching experience is required as funded teacher training is provided. You will work alongside experienced lecturers and progress into longer‑term education roles, with full support and a strong pension and holiday package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Installation in industry.
• Level 2 qualification or above in Electrical Installation.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety in a workshop/site environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical Electrical Installation instruction and workshop support.
• Assist lecturers in delivering engaging practical lessons.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workshop facilities.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Full teacher training provided.
• Monday to Friday.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced lecturers, delivering practical Electrical Installation sessions, supporting learners in the workshop, maintaining a safe learning environment and ensuring equipment and resources are prepared for practical activities. You will also supervise learners during practical sessions, reinforce key skills and help students develop the confidence and technical ability needed to succeed in industry.

The ideal candidate will have practical Electrical Installation experience, a Level 2 qualification or above in Electrical Installation and a good understanding of health and safety within a workshop or site environment. You will be enthusiastic about developing others and looking for a long-term career in education.

The Role:
