Electrical Installation Technician (Entry Level)

Prior traffic industry experience is not required; a willingness to learn and a passion for on-site work are essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the installation of traffic signals, controllers, pedestrian crossings, and ancillary equipment.
2. Manage and troubleshoot tasks across various sites daily.
3. Conduct electrical tests and pre-commissioning checks.
4. Maintain clear communication with customers and fellow contractors on site.
5. Ensure all work is completed to specification, meeting high standards and deadlines.
6. Participate in mandatory product and industry accreditation training.
7. Be flexible for out-of-hours work to meet service and contract demands.
8. Adhere to health and safety protocols, prioritizing hazard identification and mitigation.

Requirements:

1. Ideally possess an electrical qualification or some relevant experience; training will be provided for those without.
2. Be cooperative and proactive, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
3. Ability to transition between tasks and work areas while acquiring new skills.
4. Be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering quality work.
5. Have strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
6. Hold a full UK Driving License; company van and tools will be provided.
7. Comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
