About the Role

My Client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Electrical Installation Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of our further education (FE) electrical installation courses. This flexible, hourly-paid role is ideal for someone with practical electrical skills who is keen to inspire and support the next generation of electricians.

Key Responsibilities

• Support lecturers during both practical and theory sessions, helping students to develop essential electrical installation skills.
• Prepare and maintain tools, equipment and teaching resources, ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.
• Provide individual or small-group support to students, reinforcing learning and building their confidence.
• Assist with monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.

About You

• A recognised qualification in Electrical Installation (Level 2 or 3) or equivalent industry experience.
• Sound knowledge of electrical installation practices and basic wiring regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support learners.
• Organised, reliable, and committed to creating a positive learning experience.
• Previous experience working in education or training is desirable but not essential; full induction and support will be provided.
