Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a proactive Skills Practitioner to join the Built Environment team in Canterbury. You will share industry knowledge, support teaching staff and help learners develop practical electrical skills and confidence in real workshop sessions.

You will ensure safe, well-equipped workshops, organise stock, prepare sessions and provide constructive feedback to students. A Level 3 in Electrical Installations and some industry experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations.
• Some industry experience in the Electrical sector.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and promote excellent Health & Safety practices within workshop sessions.
• Order, organise, and issue stock and supplies to keep sessions running smoothly.
• Assist in workshop preparation.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students.
