Job summary

South Staffordshire College is seeking a dynamic Electrical Installation Lecturer to join our expanding team as a full-time post. The role supports delivering Level 3 electrical subjects and will contribute to the introduction of new Green Village Centre courses, including EV charging and solar voltaic modules.

You will prepare engaging teaching materials, assess learners, and provide induction support, personal progress checks and use of e-learning tools to maximise participation and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Delivery of Electrical subjects up to Level 3
• Confident use of e-learning tools to support learning
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging classroom sessions

Responsibilities

• Teach Electrical Installation subjects up to Level 3 across a range of courses
• Support learners through induction, personal support and initial assessments
• Prepare teaching and learning programmes to a high standard
• Utilise e-learning materials to encourage active participation in learning

Education

Full FE teaching qualification (DiT, PGCE/PGCE FE, Cert Ed) or equivalent
