Electrical Installation Lecturer - West Midlands

Morgan Hunt is proud to be working with a leading Further Education college in the West Midlands to recruit a passionate and experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer for a full-time, permanent role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrical professional to step into or continue their journey in education, helping to train and inspire the next generation of electricians.

The Role

As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you'll be delivering and assessing a variety of electrical installation courses from Level 1 to Level 3. You'll be working with both 16-18-year-olds and adult learners across full-time study programmes and apprenticeship routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Electrical Installation
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback in line with awarding body requirements
• Support students in achieving their qualifications and developing practical skills
• Contribute to curriculum planning and continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievements

What We're Looking For

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• An assessing qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Strong industry background in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition and Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (desirable)
• Previous experience teaching or supporting learners is beneficial
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
