Job summary

SER Limited in London is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer - Controls to join a growing team. You will install electrical systems across London and occasionally further afield, wiring control panels and reading schematics. A strong background in electrical installation and control systems is required.

The role involves fault finding, testing and commissioning, with travel across London and the wider UK. DOE salary highlights £35,000–£45,000 plus benefits and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have strong electrical installation background with understanding of controls.
• Experience working with control panels in plantrooms is ideal.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation within plantrooms and commercial/industrial environments.
• Installation, wiring and termination of control panels.
• Working with electrical control systems and equipment.
• Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics.
• Relay logic and control circuit wiring.
• Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting; testing and commissioning of installations.
• Identifying and rectifying wiring and control issues.
• Working with project engineers and other site teams.
• Travelling to sites across London and UK-wide.
