Electrical Installation Engineer

Are you a qualified electrician with a passion for sustainable energy? Our client specializes in solar PV, heat pump systems, and EV charging infrastructure—and they’re looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to support their continued demand.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Installing and commissioning solar PV systems on both ground-mounted and roof-mounted setups.
2. Supporting the electrical integration of air source or ground source heat pump systems in residential and commercial settings.
3. Conducting regular maintenance and servicing of solar panel systems to ensure peak performance and compliance.
4. Installing, commissioning, and maintaining Electric Vehicle (EV) charging units, ensuring reliability and user safety.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations (or equivalent qualification).
2. Hold a valid 2391 – Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing certification.
3. A full UK driving licence – essential for travel to client sites.
4. Solid understanding of current BS7671 wiring regulations and renewable energy systems.
