Overview

Leading award-winning safety specialist operating across 5 areas, with a focus on their Electrical Safety division. Specialises in fixed wire testing and inspection (EICRs) of commercial and industrial premises, including schools, hospitals, offices, retail units and more. Every day presents a new challenge.

Responsibilities

• Run full-scale inspections and tests on commercial and industrial fixed wiring and switchgear, compiling EICRs that matter.
• Identify issues, log them, and clearly explain what needs fixing in plain English.
• Use testing gear and reporting software with precision and efficiency.
• Work independently, adapt daily, and stay composed as sites present different challenges.
• Stay up to date with EICR standards (BS 7671, IET wiring regs, City & Guilds credentials) to maintain compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Approximately three years of similar experience (Test & Inspect, remedial repairs, or compliance-heavy work).
• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent), NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition certificate — proof of competence.
• Full UK driving licence; a van is your mobile HQ.
• Detail-focused, self-starting, and professional — always considering potential pitfalls.
