With operations across the globe and an expanding customer base, this prestigious manufacturer is planning the next phase of their recruitment in the Maintenance team. Following recent investments, they are seeking an Electrical Inspector to join and lead their well-established maintenance team. The company operates across multiple sites, offering stability and excellent career progression opportunities. Internal and external training courses are provided to support your development, whether advancing within engineering or moving into management. This role is a stepping stone from Engineer to Management, transitioning a Senior Maintenance Engineer from hands-on work to a managerial position overseeing the team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all activities needed to maintain equipment are executed with high quality, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Detect deviations in plant asset performance promptly.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and quality execution of routine maintenance daily, through detailed job preparation with the area Engineer.
  • Establish standard work plans for repetitive maintenance tasks and promote standardization.
  • Inspect equipment and facilities during random or scheduled tours to detect anomalies.
  • Support maintenance teams in diagnosis and problem-solving.
  • Guarantee the quality of external repair services, spare parts, or equipment by inspecting at suppliers or upon arrival at the warehouse.
  • Coordinate contractor jobs and monitor the quality of work performed.
  • Apply predictive maintenance techniques when appropriate for managing equipment and components.
  • Review and analyze plant information (SAP, Shift Reports, Alarm Systems).
  • Create detailed work orders to ensure safe and efficient maintenance execution.
  • Keep asset documents and drawings updated and organized, both physically and online.
  • Assist Engineering and Production teams in preparing work plans to maximize efficiency and quality.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Degree qualified or a highly proactive and experienced Maintenance/Team Leader.
  • Strong electrical knowledge and skills.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of current plant equipment.
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques related to predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to work under pressure and find solutions quickly.
