Job description

Electrical Improver – Slough – £35K

My client has an exciting opportunity for an electrical improver to join their expanding company and develop into a fully-fledged electrical engineer.

The engineer will work on commercial sites such as retail shops, bakeries, and gyms. The company offers nationwide coverage, with engineers based across the UK; some travel and overnight stays may be required.

You will gain hands-on experience alongside a senior electrical engineer, learning various aspects of electrical commercial work.

Training and Responsibilities:

• Test & Inspection
• Emergency Light Testing
• Fire Alarm Maintenance
• Small Installations
• Breakdown and fault-finding tasks

Candidate Requirements:

• 1-2 years’ experience in the electrical industry
• Recognised trade qualifications
• Live within Slough or surrounding areas
• 18th Edition wiring regulations & City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in electrical installations
• Full clean driving license (preferable)
• Good attitude and willingness to learn

Package:

• £28K - £35K depending on experience
• 40-hour workweek
