Electrical Improver (Field Service Engineer) - Medical Device: Operating Theatre & Surgical Equipment
Location: South West – Bristol, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bath and Swindon
Note: NO MEDICAL EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – FULL PRODUCT TRAINING PROVIDED
An excellent opportunity for a Junior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Improver, Apprentice Electrical Engineer, Electrician’s Mate, or Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading company installing and maintaining medical equipment in hospitals and healthcare centres. The Role: Following expansion, they seek a customer-focused and technically motivated Electrical Improver (Field Service Engineer) responsible for service, repair, testing, and commissioning of medical equipment at hospital sites throughout the South West region. Responsibilities include maintaining surgical lighting, operating theatre tables, medical gas facilities, and associated control systems and electrical infrastructure.
Candidate Requirements: Demonstrate a strong background working with electrical equipment. This is a trainee role; applicants from Junior Electrical Engineers, Electrical Improvers, Apprentice Electrical Engineers, Electrician’s Mates, or Electrical Maintenance Engineers with relevant electrical qualifications are encouraged to apply.
