Electrical Improver/Electrician – 4 on 4 off

£33,000 per annum

We are seeking an electrical improver/electrician to join an onsite maintenance team at a static site in Birmingham. The ideal candidate has completed Level 2 and 3 electrical installation, holds 18th edition qualifications, has some on-site experience, and is either NVQ Level 3 qualified or working towards it. The shift pattern is 4 days on (6am-5pm), 4 days off, 4 days on (1pm-12am), 4 days off.

This role is suitable for someone with experience and qualifications who wants to develop further, with access to excellent training and career development opportunities.

Main duties include (but are not limited to):

• Emergency light repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
• Minor remedial electrical tasks.
• Basic electrical maintenance such as lamping.
• Supporting other maintenance team members with ad-hoc tasks across disciplines.

The position offers a permanent contract with a salary up to £33,000 per annum, including overtime, with opportunities for upskilling and further qualifications.
