Qualifications

• Working knowledge of electrical systems for maintenance and diagnostics.
• Experience in planned maintenance and reactive emergency works within Local Authority/Social Housing.
• NVQ L3 in Electrical Installations or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical compliance, including EICR's and remedial works.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and timeliness.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service in homes.

The Role

Employer: Dunhams Ltd

Job title: Electrical Improver

Location: East London

Working Times: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Salary: £28,600k per annum OTE £35,000k per annum DOE with overtime/emergency call out

Equipment provided: Company Van (Full, Clean UK Driving Licence essential), Fuel Card, Purchase Card, Uniform, Samsung Tablet

Our Expectations

• Responsive Maintenance: Carry out electrical compliancy including EICR’s, EICR remedial works including (consumer unit replacements), emergency lighting, day to day reactive repairs and full rewires
• High Standard of Workmanship: Ensuring that the work carried out meets high-quality standards is a key part of the job.
• Timeliness and Productivity: Completing tasks efficiently and on schedule is important, as these services aim to keep properties in good condition without causing long delays.
• Customer Service: As you'll be working in homes or around tenants, providing friendly, professional, flexible and helpful service is crucial for maintaining good relationships with clients and residents.
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

• Working knowledge of electrical systems to conduct maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnostics on existing systems.
• Experience of working on planned maintenance and reactive emergency works within the Local Authority/Social Housing sector is highly valuable in this role.
• Working towards or completed NVQ L3 in Electrical Installations
• A clean, full UK Driving Licence
