Valoris Group is seeking an Electrical Improver to support various electrical projects in Farnham. Valoris Group is working in partnership with a leading electrical contractor to recruit an Electrical Improver to support commercial and domestic projects across the Farnham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual working toward full electrician status to gain experience alongside a skilled team on live installations.
Assisting Electricians with installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems
Pulling cable, containment work (tray, trunking, conduit), and 1st/2nd fix wiring
Supporting fault-finding and remedial work under supervision
Maintaining tools, equipment, and site cleanliness in line with health & safety standards
Working effectively with site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time
Following instructions from site supervisors and working in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
Minimum of 1 years site-based experience as an Electrical Improver or Electricians Mate
NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (in progress or completed)
ECS Card (essential)
Awareness of site health and safety practices
Basic tools and PPE (or willing to obtain)
Reliable, hardworking and eager to develop your electrical career
Ability to commute to various project sites daily
Right to work in the UK
18th Edition (or working towards)
IPAF / PASMA / Asbestos Awareness / Working at Heights
Experience in commercial, residential, or renewable energy sectors
£25,000 £32,000 basic salary depending on experience
Consistent working hours (Monday to Friday)
Paid travel and overtime options
