Job summary

Pertemps Telford has a full-time Wiring/Soldering Technician role based in Shropshire. You will build wiring harnesses from drawings and assemble prototype and production units, including HV cables.

You’ll manage build schedules and liaise with internal teams on installations, with testing and commissioning of electrical systems when required. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, the ability to read drawings, and skills in crimping, HV cable preparation, and wiring standards.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/production experience required.
• Ability to read technical drawings and build complex harnesses.
• Desirable: crimping, HV cable preparation and wiring standards experience.
• Desirable: IPC qualifications or willingness to work towards them.

Responsibilities

• Build wiring harnesses from engineering drawings to a high standard.
• Assemble prototype and production harnesses, including HV cables.
• Manage build schedules and meet production targets.
• Liaise with internal departments on installations.
• Test and commission electrical systems when required.
