Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in the United Kingdom is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects. You will lead, train, and evaluate the team while coordinating installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems, ensuring quality work to NEC and local codes.

You will develop manpower schedules, read blueprints, prepare material lists, and perform field layout with Trimble when needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Proven leadership abilities with capability to grow as a supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards and develop manpower schedules.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures and conductors.
• Read project specifications, blueprints and schematics; perform field layout.
