Belfast | £38,000 - £40,000 | 40 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to join a growing team in Belfast. This role is vital to ensuring the ongoing safety, reliability, and compliance of electrical systems across a large-scale facility. You'll be carrying out detailed inspections, reporting on findings, and helping to maintain a safe environment for both people and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) across electrical systems and equipment.
  • Inspect and test installations, circuits, and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Document findings clearly and prepare detailed reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Promote and adhere to health & safety protocols at all times.
About You
  • Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations.
  • City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) for Initial and Periodic Inspection & Testing.
  • Strong background in conducting EICR inspections, ideally within large industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient with electrical testing software (e.g. EasyCert or similar).
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
