Job Description:

LOCATION: Spirit AeroSystems, Belfast

CONTRACT: Fixed term

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday

SALARY: Competitive

Purpose: To be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical installations within our client's manufacturing facility. To perform EICR inspections in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Contribute to safety and security, protecting employees and assets in emergencies.

Service Provision

1. Perform thorough Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on various electrical systems and equipment.
2. Inspect and test electrical installations, circuits, and equipment for compliance with safety standards. Document findings and create detailed reports.
3. Maintain clear communication with the client, colleagues, and management regarding testing schedules, findings, and recommendations.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
5. Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.
6. Ensure testing equipment is calibrated, maintained, and in good working order.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

• Take a results-oriented approach, analyze/trend results, and implement remedial actions.
• Support customer initiatives for long-term benefits.
• Perform other duties as reasonably requested by management.

Skills and Experience

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations.
• City & Guilds 2391 Certification for Electrical Inspection and Testing (or equivalent).
• UK Driving Licence.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience conducting EICR inspections in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and safety standards.
• Experience using electrical testing software like EasyCert.
