Job summary

Electrical Fitter role at a West Yorkshire manufacturer offers a clean, structured environment with strong job security and development opportunities. Based in Leeds area with easy access from Bradford, Huddersfield and Wakefield, the position focuses on OEM machinery assembly, wiring and testing.

You will work from complex electrical schematics, maintain quality and health & safety standards, document production records and support training within a stable, long-term team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in engineering.
• Minimum two years' experience in electrical assembly and testing of OEM machinery.
• Ability to read complex electrical schematic diagrams and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire and test OEM machinery and electrical assemblies.
• Work from complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Maintain quality standards and follow Health & Safety procedures.
• Support team members and assist with training where required.
• Identify and upscale electrical faults or non-conformance issues.
• Complete documentation, production records and stock control.
