Job Title: Electrical Fitter
Location: Stroud
Salary: £30,000 per annum - Plus 2 x bonus schemes and unlimited OT

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 16:30; Friday, 07:30 – 14:00

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our team to produce electrical circuits and sub-circuits to the required standard and quality. You will work under the direction of supervision, ensuring all work is completed according to written instructions and specifications.

Key Responsibilities of this Electrical Fitter position:

• Produce vehicle and equipment circuitry of varying complexity, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
• Perform work tasks, including pulling cables, wiring panels, and mounting equipment in vehicle cabs.
• Work with 24V systems and various electrical components, following technical schematics.
• Carry out electrical tasks such as crimping, ferruling, and cable management.
• Cooperate with supervision to identify and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications required for this Electrical Fitter position:

• A solid electrical engineering background with practical experience in an industrial setting.
• Recognised qualifications in electrical engineering, such as City and Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ.
• Ability to read, understand, and produce work based on electrical schematic drawings.
• Practical experience using general electrical engineering tools and techniques.
• Ability to perform self-inspections and flag any potential issues for corrective action when necessary.
• Previous experience in panel wiring and working in an industrial setting is highly beneficial.
