Do you have a background in avionics or electrical component overhaul?

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading aerospace engineering company based in Stansted, Essex, for a skilled Electrical Fitter to join their specialist team.

About the Role

As an Electrical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in testing, inspecting, repairing, and overhauling a variety of electrical components.These include Galley Heaters, Emergency Power Supplies, GCU’s, and Pyrometers, all essential to the aerospace sector.

You’ll be supporting either the Avionics or Heater departments, helping to meet both customer demands and stringent aerospace industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out workshop-based activities related to electrical fitting, repair, and maintenance
  • Support avionics or heater departments with day-to-day technical operations
  • Work collaboratively with scheduling boards, updating progress and raising any concerns
  • Ensure adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain full compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) regulations
  • Uphold safety protocols and promote a safe working environment at all times
