Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd is hiring Electrical Fitters to join a growing production team. The role focuses on electrical assembly, panel wiring, and on-site installation, with a 4.5‑day week and flexible hours. Overtime is available to support business needs.

The successful candidate will read electrical drawings, perform cable preparation, and participate in testing and inspection as part of a structured development pathway.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or similar.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong crimping, wiring and cable preparation skills.
• Minimum Level 2 Electrical Diploma (or equivalent).
• Competent in testing, installation and on-site assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble copperwork, cabling and electrical components.
• Read from electrical drawings and schematics.
• Electrical panel wiring and general control panel build.
• Cabinet/box building and mounting plate assembly.
• Direct-to-panel wiring and terminations.
• Assisting in basic testing and inspection.
• Installation and on-site assembly of equipment.

Job Title: Electrical Fitter

Salary: £15-£20 per hour DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week (overtime available)

Pattern: 4.5-day working week

Flexible start/finish times on full days

Early finish at 12:00 on Fridays

• Assembly of copperwork, cabling and electrical components

• Cabinet/box building and mounting plate assembly

• Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics
• Assisting in basic testing and inspection
• Installation and on-site assembly of equipment

Experience & Qualifications
