Electrical Fitter Apprenticeship Level 3 Required

Bolton | Defence Sector | Manufacturing & Testing | Full-Time Contingent Worker

Join a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence at their Bolton site as an Electrical Fitter. You will play a key role in electrical manufacturing and testing, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Certify and inspect products to meet quality standards
2. Apply your skills across a variety of electrical tasks
3. Use tools and instruments confidently throughout the build cycle
4. Meet production timelines and follow all manufacturing procedures

What Do You Need?

• Apprenticeship-trained or equivalent vocational qualifications
• Strong experience in electrical wiring, fitting, and assembly
• IPC 610 certification (preferred)
• Aerospace or defence background (desirable)
• Manual handling, ESD, and lifting/slinging training

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by our client's Security Team, after the offer stage.

This position is located at our client's Bolton facility, a leading manufacturing site in the North West for over 25 years, offering amenities such as showers, bike racks, an onsite canteen, and proximity to the motorway and petrol station. Training and development opportunities are provided.

If you do not live within 30 miles of the site, you can receive up to £1,600 a month for accommodation. A full apprenticeship is required.
