Job summary

A leading water treatment company in Great Yarmouth is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join their fabrication workshop on a permanent basis. This role involves completing electrical installations from drawings while ensuring high safety standards and using hand tools and machinery. Candidates should possess relevant experience, qualifications, and a proactive approach to effectively manage workloads.

Qualifications

• Hold 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
• Fully qualified to 18th Edition preferred.
• Strong planning, organizational skills, and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical fitouts and installations from drawings.
• Work collaboratively with the established team.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.

Due to our continued and sustainable growth, Aquazone is looking for an Electrical Fitter to join us on a permanent basis at our Fabrication Workshop in Great Yarmouth. You will work alongside an established team and be required to complete electrical fitouts and installations from drawings through safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.

Key Duties Include:

• Electrical installation works experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering electrical drawings.
• Practical experience in a similar role or environment.
• Understanding of electrical health and safety regulations.
• Methodical approach to work, capable of working through schedules, checking, and completing tasks to high standards.
• Ability to manage daily workload and prioritize tasks.

Requirements:

• Hold 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
• Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, proactive attitude.
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in electrical work.
• Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations.
• Fully qualified to 18th Edition (advantageous).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
