The role of: Electrical Field Service Engineer (Subsea Equipment)

Typically, this person will work as a key member of the company's Field Services Team, providing hands-on technical support and operational advice for the full product range both in the factory and at various customer locations worldwide as required.

You will be working on and developing good working relationships with customers, proactively promoting the equipment and services offered by the business. The products are electrically controlled, hydraulically operated mechanical subsea equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work in the factory and in the field assisting with product completion and Factory Acceptance Tests.
2. Installation & Commissioning of the product, potentially globally.
3. Be part of the mobilisation team to assist with product repair or on-site standby (which could be on a vessel at sea). When at sea, objectives include keeping the equipment fully functional, repairing it if broken, and providing operational support and advice to customer operations personnel.
4. Manage and oversee the Sea Trials of the product.
5. Conduct Final Acceptance Testing of the range of products.
6. Willingness to travel globally at short notice.
7. Confidently read schematics and write reports.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A formal technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Multidisciplinary Engineering.
• Full driving license.
• Valid passport.
