Electrical Field Service Engineer - Power Station


Up to £48,000 + Benefits and Bonus

Alecto Recruitment is seeking qualified Electricians and Electrical Engineers with experience in industrial environments to join our client in Essex as an Electrical Field Service Engineer.


Working across a portfolio of power stations, process plants, and industrial environments, you will assist the electrical engineering team in carrying out installations, commissioning, maintenance, and overhaul of large-scale rotating equipment.


Job Responsibilities
  1. Carry out a range of electrical tasks and duties on industrial plant and rotating equipment.
  2. Installation, testing, fault finding, maintenance, and commissioning of machinery.
  3. Assist in electrical works at the company workshop.
  4. Ensure maintenance reports and logs are kept up to date.
  5. Ensure maintenance activities are completed within defined budgets.
  6. Ensure compliance with all health & safety and legal requirements.
  7. Participate in a call-out rota.
Requirements
  1. Must hold a Full UK Driver's Licence.
  2. Completed an apprentice-trained, ideally through an indentured apprenticeship.
  3. Seeking electrically trained Engineers, Technicians, and/or Fitters with training and experience in rotating equipment and heavy industrial plant.
  4. Experience with equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, generators, and water or wastewater equipment, or power plants.
  5. NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
