Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer to install, test, commission and maintain electrical systems at diverse project sites. You will interpret drawings, troubleshoot faults, and ensure adherence to NEC/IEC/IEEE standards while collaborating with project teams to meet deadlines.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and 2–5+ years of field experience, with travel to sites and a commitment to safety and quality on every assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2-5+ years of field experience.
• Strong understanding of power systems, protection, and control circuits.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment at project sites.
• Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of electrical faults.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE).
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare technical reports, test results, and as-built documentation.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Implement safety procedures and quality standards at job sites.
• Provide technical training and guidance to technicians and junior engineers.
