Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is recruiting an Operations / Facilities Manager (Electrical Bias) for a permanent, full-time role in Kirkcaldy. You will lead hard services delivery, manage site teams, and oversee lifecycle maintenance and energy initiatives to ensure compliant, on-time service delivery on a major contract.

The role requires an electrical qualification (HNC/HND or Electrician status) with at least 5 years post-qualification experience, strong MS Office and CAFM skills, and a

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar hard services or facilities management role.
• HNC/HND in Electrical discipline or fully qualified Electrician status with recognized electrical trade qualifications.
• Proficient in CAFM and MS Office.
• Full UK Driving Licence and clean Disclosure Scotland vetting.
• Strong leadership, effective communication and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site personnel and HR matters, including performance reviews and training compliance.
• Interface with central Service Desk for workforce planning and daily operations.
• Keep Local Operating Procedures (LOPs) and site documentation in line with regulations and best practice.
• Manage contract budgets and financial forecasts to protect margins.
• Produce monthly client reports and drive energy management initiatives across the contract.
• Oversee lifecycle maintenance programs and additional works from inception to completion.
• Support a positive, inclusive culture and participate in On-Call Managers rotation.
