Job summary

DR Newitt Engineering & Manufacturing is recruiting an experienced Electrician / Electrical Engineer to join a busy engineering and facilities environment based in the Hounslow / Heathrow area.

The role involves planned preventative maintenance, electrical inspections and reactive repairs on a major commercial site, delivering safe, compliant and reliable electrical services. You will work as part of a dedicated team and support maintenance programmes.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with maintenance background.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation.
• Experience with electrical safety checks and inspections.
• Familiar with site maintenance and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Respond to faults and perform reactive repairs.
• Complete electrical safety checks and routine inspections.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using IT systems.
• Work with the engineering team to meet SLAs and safety standards.
