Job summary

Northcote M&E is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our established team in Guildford, delivering cost estimates for commercial, domestic and industrial projects across the South East. You will review tender documents, read electrical drawings, prepare quantity take-offs and cost sheets, and collaborate with clients and supply chain to ensure accurate bids and timely submissions.

The role offers progression, a structured environment and exposure to a range of projects with training

Qualifications

• Skills using Microsoft Office mainly Word & Excel.
• Verbal & written communication skills.
• Able to read an electrical design drawing.
• Problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing tender documents, drawings & job specifications.
• Communication with existing and new clients throughout tender process.
• Preparing detailed quantity take off sheets.
• Material costing sheets.
• Collate costs from supply chain, review for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of electrical and supply chain project cost estimates for our projects.
