Job summary

M4 Talent Group Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Estimator in London. The role focuses on developing career in estimating within the electrical and construction industry, with a minimum of 1 year of estimating experience.

You will be preparing estimates, reviewing drawings, and calculating material and labour costs while liaising with suppliers and clients. The position offers a hybrid work pattern and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of estimating experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard office software.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the electrical industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and quotations.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Carrying out material and labour cost calculations.
• Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and internal teams.
• Identifying costs, risks and potential commercial opportunities within projects.
• Ensuring estimates are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Supporting the wider commercial and project teams throughout the tender process.
• Maintaining accurate estimating records and documentation.
