Job summary

Engenda Group is seeking a senior Electrical Estimator to join our Runcorn estimating team. You will lead E&I estimating and tendering from feasibility through EPC opportunities, reviewing ITTs/RFQs and developing tender strategies for energy, chemical, utilities, renewables and major infra projects.

The role requires a qualification in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, significant estimating experience in industrial environments, and the ability to manage multiple bids to deadlines while

• Strong knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead E&I estimating and tendering from feasibility through EPC opportunities, reviewing ITTs/RFQs and developing tender strategies.
• Prepare detailed estimates covering labour, materials, subcontract packages, equipment, costs, pricing schedules and BoQs.
• Assess project scope and constructability, interpreting electrical, instrumentation and engineering documentation to develop resource and installation assumptions.
• Manage costs, quotations and risk, evaluating supplier/subcontractor pricing and identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Engage with clients and project teams through tender meetings, site visits and clarifications, maintaining estimating data and lessons learned.

Are you a senior Electrical Estimator looking for a permanent job?

Have you hit the ceiling of where you are, looking for a fresh challenge, a change of scenery and a new work scope?

Engenda Group are looking for an E/I estimator to join our core Runcorn estimating team. You will be working within a small but dedicated team of estimators, working on tenders and bids for work in the energy, chemical, utilities, renewables and major infrastructure industries.

Hours: 40 + flexi time

You will:

• Lead E&I estimating and tendering from feasibility through to EPC/EPCm opportunities, reviewing ITTs/RFQs and developing tender strategies.
• Prepare detailed estimates covering labour, materials, subcontract packages, equipment, construction costs, pricing schedules and BoQs.
• Assess project scope and constructability, interpreting electrical, instrumentation and engineering documentation to develop resource, productivity and installation assumptions.
• Manage costs, quotations and risk, evaluating supplier/subcontractor pricing and identifying commercial, contractual and technical risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Engage with clients and project teams through tender meetings, site visits and clarifications, while maintaining estimating data, benchmarks and lessons learned.

To be successful, you will have:

• A Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
• Significant estimating experience within industrial engineering, construction, maintenance, or EPC environments.
• A Strong knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems, and industrial installations.
• Experience pricing multidisciplinary industrial projects ranging from minor works to major capital projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract forms such as NEC.
• Proven ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of COMAH, ATEX, CDM Regulations, and industrial safety standards
