Job Description

My client is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Estimator. They are a well-established Electrical Contractor with over 38 years of experience, specializing mainly in new build residential developments with a broad client base across London, Hearts, Beds, Bucks, Cambridge, Oxfordshire, Middlesex, and more.

The company offers a friendly working environment within a close-knit team of about ten members.

Key Responsibilities & Skills as an Electrical Estimator

1. Produce electrical tenders ranging from £50k to £10m.
2. Review supplier and subcontractor quotations for compliance and value.
3. Maintain and develop professional relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
4. Must have hands-on experience as an electrician, recent or past.
5. Extensive experience in Residential & Commercial sectors.
6. Good understanding of the disciplines covered by the company.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable building relationships with clients both over the phone and in person.
8. Good communication and negotiation skills.
9. Excellent decision-making skills and commercial awareness.
