Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review project documentation and verify against the Drawing Register.
2. Perform take-offs and assess project complexity, identifying potential risks.
3. Analyze specifications and project documentation.
4. Send enquiries to specialists and issue RFIs as required.
5. Input data into Cypher estimating software.
6. Prepare tender letters and summaries for submission.
7. Lead pre-bid meetings with management.
8. Participate in pre-, mid-, and post-tender meetings.
9. Conduct Value Engineering analysis on tenders when necessary.
10. Attend site visits during tender stages.
11. Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the Contracts Manager.
12. Evaluate subcontractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.
13. Occasionally assist with large project variations.

Experience & Skills:

1. Minimum 3 years' experience in estimating.
2. Apprenticeship background (desirable, but not essential).
3. Familiarity with Cypher estimating software (desirable, but not essential).
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
5. Experience with high-end residential projects (desirable, but not essential).

1. Salary: Competitive (£50,000 - £65,000 per annum).
2. Bonus: Annual performance bonus.
