Introduction

Our client is growing, and that means we're looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to come on board. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate, timely estimates across a range of exciting projects, from the pre-tender phase all the way through to post-tender.

Alongside strong career development support, we offer a competitive salary, professional development opportunities, an employee assistance program, and health and wellness initiatives.

What will I be doing?

  • You'll support the smooth delivery of projects in both the UK and Ireland by ensuring tenders are completed accurately and consistently.
  • Working with the estimating team, you'll produce detailed and timely estimates using take-offs, measurements, and specialist software.
  • You'll review completed projects to compare estimated costs with actual outcomes, helping to improve accuracy for future tenders.
  • You'll liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, reviewing quotes for compliance and identifying value engineering opportunities where appropriate.
  • By staying up to date with market trends and pricing, you'll help ensure every estimate is competitive and aligned with commercial goals.

What do I need to succeed?

  • You've got experience as an Electrical Estimator or have worked on preparing electrical estimates.
  • You know your way around electrical installations-or you're keen to learn more.
  • You've got a degree in Engineering or a similar field, or equivalent experience to match.
  • You understand the importance of health and safety and know how to keep it front of mind on every project.
