Overview

The Role: An excellent opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join the Engineering Services South West regional team based in our regional office in Bristol. In addition to normal estimating duties, the candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the tender process ensuring the required deadlines are met.

Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed tender bids and cost plans.
  • Manage the tender process to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Attend mid and post tender meetings.
  • Interface with existing and prospective new clients and communicate with sub-contractor and supplier companies, using existing companies and generating new leads.
  • Ensure all tender documents have been reviewed and understood (i.e. Prelims, T&C’s, BREEAM, Fire Strategy, Acoustics, BIM, etc.).
  • Attend, present and chair both internal and external meetings.
  • Work as part of a team with the personal skills to promote good relationships and a friendly working environment.
  • Make sure M&E abnormal are included for both disciplines.
Requirements
